Had to have a laugh about this today. Who steals $1million worth of games? really.... Thanks to news.com.au IN AUSTRALIA, there were "literally thousands of fans around the country at midnight launches" for the latest Call of Duty video game, according to an Activision spokesperson. But across the globe in France, it was a different story. In a heist worthy of any video game, brazen French bandits stole more than $1 million worth of copies of the new blockbuster first-person shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, newspaper Le Parisien reported. Two trucks containing thousands of copies of the game - due to hit stores Tuesday - were hijacked within an hour of each other Saturday morning in the suburbs of the French capital, with the value of the loot estimated at a little over $1,000,000. In the first incident, the attackers hit a truck carrying the games with a vehicle, forcing the delivery drivers to stop and inspect the damage. They were confronted with two men wearing ski masks and armed with knives, who threw tear gas and made off with the truck. It appears that the iPhone and iPad, keep track of your location at all times, and it keeps a record of it in a hidden file on your device. And to top it off, this has been known by law enforcement agencies for some time. Apparently the different sensors in the device log all the information into a hidden file, that can be accessed by anyone that knows how, so if you are arrested for any reason, the police could access this file, and find out where you have been, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the last year. And so far apple are keeping quiet. It doesn't surprise me that something like this has happened, just think of the amount of information you can get from your device now that they have things like GPS chips and the like, the information has to be stored somewhere on the device so it can be used to its full extent, so if this is available on Apple products, how many other phones and GPS's is it also available on?
