Postby Blacky » Tue Jun 02, 2009 8:50 pm

Anyone got any information on the FOXTEL sat? Is it on the Optus C1? Also has anyone got any information on angle/azimuth/skew for the dish? (in perth)
I got a dual output LNB and a 65cm dish....all for $90, Thats trade prices, i also did make a decent business contact for wholesale parts from the same blokes!

Yea that document could of came in handy! I also used http://www.dishpointer.com/ to get the direction from the house. (I didnt have a compass) This site uses google maps and draws a line in the direction of the SAT directly from your house.
It came in handy because of the fact i didn't have a compass.

So i got it all installed niceley and now the problem i have is with the dual output LNB. Im recieving the foxtel fine but cannot record. Its as if the dual output isnt working. Maybe its the polarisation of the LNB, not sure.

Cheers

Just read this, im interested on a perfectly straight mount, what angle do you have the dish on. I know the dish's between the East and the west are on different angles IIRC?
