fibre? ins and out?

Can someone give me a rundown on fibre, ie different connector types, australian manufactures? pretty keen to learn a bit about fibre.

All the connectors in the world. Well not really but wikipedia has a good list with pictures.

Best rule to remember was taught to me by a travelling clown - SC stands for square c*#&.

You can always check out catalogues if you're really bored. Black Box is a good one for network components. They have an online catalogue (big page) too.

hmm might be useful, im doing up a little flash preso to test out my skills. Should allow you to reference most connectors in communications including Fibre!
