Google servers have a google flavoured linux and I'm guessing special hardware. If you don't get the disks then I would just say NO.
You have no idea what could be on that box.

I would not recommend buying that google box. Its my understanding that they are prebuild by google to point to a datastore and index it for searching.

Keep looking on ebay for something to suit your needs mate.

Hosting your services off a server in a dedicated datacenter like MrEMan suggested is a great option as well.
