Windows 7 Released

Postby Jimmeh » Thu Oct 22, 2009 4:38 am

I'm sure everyone heard about it.

Here's a link to the shopbot page - cheapest copy seems to be $232 for x64 Ultimate OEM. If anyone can beat that, let me know :-)

Bring on the cheap tablets/media players!

That's for the upgrade kit of Home Premium or Professional edition rather then the full version.

You can be a TAFE student too. The website for anyone interested is here

Personally I never upgrade, Windows doesn't need any additional excuses to screw up, but they are alot cheaper. There's also a discount if you're an IEEE Student too from memory, not sure how the price compares.

I've been running the RC on one of my desktops and my lappy and it goes fairly well. I'll pay for a licence key when they expire and start rebooting March next year.
